Job summary

Banyan Software seeks a Software Developer to build and maintain healthcare applications used by clinical and administrative teams. You will work across ASP.NET Core, .NET, SQL Server, and patient-facing web experiences.

Responsibilities include API design, troubleshooting across layers, modernizing legacy components, and secure data integrations. Collaboration with product, support, QA, and implementation teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with C# and .NET in web apps.
• Strong SQL Server and T‑SQL skills.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core or MVC.
• Experience with Git, testing, debugging, and code review.
• Ability to understand and improve a business-critical codebase.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design APIs, services, background jobs, database procedures, and responsive UIs.
• Troubleshoot across application, database, integration, and deployment layers.
• Modernize legacy .NET components while preserving reliability.
• Build secure integrations using REST, SOAP, SFTP, XML and healthcare formats.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design, testing, and release validation.
