Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. is seeking an Application Developer – II to design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using the .NET stack.

You will collaborate with analysts and teams to implement solutions and ensure data integrity across ERP-related projects. The role offers opportunities to lead operational tasks, mentor peers, and contribute to mid-to-large scale projects in a fast-paced environment in Livingston, NJ.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with at least one web application framework (e.g., .NET, PHP, Django, Spring, Node.js).
• Strong MS SQL Server and SQL knowledge.
• Experience with source control tools and CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps).
• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework using C#.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure DevOps, AWS, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to review requirements and provide technical input.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance corporate web applications using .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET).
• Write clean, scalable, well-documented code and conduct code reviews; manage version control with Git in Azure DevOps.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas (MS SQL Server).
• Support deployment, testing, and troubleshooting across environments.
• Identify gaps and tooling needs to improve scalability and quality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications for engineers.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to core meetings.
• Review, process and complete work requisitions per SOPs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; identify root causes.
