Job summary

Neon is building the consumer data platform and mobile apps, with a hands-on engineering culture and rapid pace. You will be among the first engineers, shaping product direction and product-market fit while delivering production-ready mobile experiences.

You’ll own architecture, code, and collaboration with the founders, balancing speed with thoughtful design, and contributing to data pipelines and cloud infrastructure for reliability and scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineer who writes production code daily and makes architectural decisions.
• Strong mobile experience on iOS and Android with React Native knowledge a plus.
• Experience with VoIP, WebRTC, and real-time communications architecture.
• Proven ability to own end-to-end features in a fast-moving startup.
• Deep understanding of backend services and data pipelines to support mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain customer-facing mobile applications (React Native or native).
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Own architectural decisions across system design, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with founders on product direction and roadmap.
• Provide technical oversight for data pipelines and delivery workflows.
• Establish engineering best practices: testing, CI/CD, monitoring.
