Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience designing RESTful web applications and services.
• Experience with MVC frameworks.
• 3+ years with Laravel.
• 5+ years of web app development with PHP, XML, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, with experience in a modern JS framework (Angular/Node/React/Vue).
• 5+ years of professional work with MySQL or similar databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high quality responsive web applications using a PHP/MySQL stack.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications and execute plans to launch and maintain applications.
• Set and enforce coding standards; collaborate with external developers on best practices.
• Build automated tests to ensure smooth deployments.
• Create and maintain architecture, design docs, flow diagrams and process diagrams.
• Evaluate new tech and prototype projects using emerging tools.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and potential improvements.
