Captivation is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer (1/2/3) to design, develop, and maintain scalable full‑stack systems using Java, JavaScript, and Linux in a hybrid Annapolis Junction, MD environment. You will collaborate across teams to optimize performance, implement reusable components, and ensure accessibility compliance, with opportunities to lead and mentor as you contribute to mission-critical capabilities for national security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline.
• 14 years of experience architecting, developing, and maintaining software solutions, with a focus on performance.
• Experience with all aspects of full-stack development.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience designing and developing modular, reusable software components.
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Experience working throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and sustainment.

• Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and customers to design high-performing software solutions.
