Description

STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has an opening for Full Stack Java Developer with GCP & AI Experience.

Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it.

Position Description

As a Full Stack Developer within the Connected Vehicle ecosystem, candidate will be responsible for developing and managing high-quality API solutions that power the CVCEP platform, the CVCEP Chatbot, and critical support tools like the Dealer Software Support Hotline (DSSH). Candidate will utilize Java, Microservices, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build scalable, data-driven features that bridge the gap between vehicle connectivity, dealer support, and the end-customer experience.

Skills Required

• AWS, GCP, Angular, Spring Boot, React, Java, API - Candidate must have knowledge of the list technology stacks.
• Candidates must have experience in one or multiple of these technologies for 5+ years or more.

Skills Preferred

• Kubernetes, Microservices - Candidate must have knowledge of these principles. - Experience in these areas is preferred

Experience Required

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• 3+ years of Spring and Spring Boot framework experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Software Development tools (Backlog Management (JIRA), Source Code Management (GitHub), Test Management, CI/CD (Tekton/Jenkins/GitHub actions).
• 3+ years of experience with Test Driven Development and Agile Methodologies. 2+ years of experience with Cloud environments (preferably GCP)

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering or related disciplines.
