Qualifications

• Active DHS clearance required.
• 3+ years of full stack development experience with Java and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack Java-based applications for DHS programs and initiatives.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices using Java/Spring Boot frameworks.
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, and QA engineers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure application security, performance, and compliance with federal IT standards.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
