Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking an experienced Application Developer in Audubon, PA to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications. You will drive architecture decisions, build microservices with Java Spring Boot, and create responsive Angular UIs that integrate with RESTful APIs and cloud deployments.

The role requires hands-on leadership in SDLC, agile ceremonies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a developer.
• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA.
• Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap.
• Microservices & API Development: RESTful APIs, API Gateway.
• Messaging & Event-Driven Architecture: Java messaging services.
• Databases: Oracle, Firebase, Redis.
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable Java microservices with Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with databases.
• Lead agile ceremonies and guide development teams.
• Ensure code quality with reviews, patterns, and best practices.
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms with CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate across teams.
