Job summary

Information Gateways Inc is seeking a Full-Stack Java Developer to join our Federal enterprise application team in the United States. You will design, develop, test and implement Java modules within an Agile Scrum environment and help maintain modernization efforts.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate with a multi-site team, and optimize performance of backend and frontend components using Java, Angular, Spring Boot and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of object-oriented development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• 3+ years experience with database technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Angular 4+ frameworks.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Experience with Agile development and AWS Cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and modernization of complex Federal enterprise applications.
• Design, develop, test and implement Java application code in an Agile Scrum environment.

Full-Stack Java Developer

Collaborates with multi-site team to identity, resolve and test solutions to issues with new modules. Optimizes and performance tunes developed code.

Skills And Abilities

• Solid understanding of designing, development, database development, and testing methodologies
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems using Java
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of multi-site team

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, another related discipline, or equivalent work experience in the software development field will be considered
• 5+ years of object-oriented development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on, strong Java development experience
• 3+ years of experience with database technologies
• Strong proficiency in Angular 4+ frameworks
• Experience with SpingBoot and Hibernate
• Experience with Agile development and AWS Cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
