Job summary

Globant is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications with front-end React.js functionality. The role includes building backend services with Spring Boot and Microservices, Camunda workflows, and deploying on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform unit testing, and contribute to code reviews. On-site work is required in Jersey City, NJ, with a compensation range of six figures.

We are seeking a qualified Full Stack Java Developer. This role is responsible for performing the essential functions listed below and requires the skills and experience described.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Java development.
• Hands‑on experience with React.js.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with Camunda workflow development.
• Experience working with AWS, particularly:

  • S3
  • EKS
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Experience using AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on‑site 5 days per week in Jersey City, NJ.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and developing highly scalable applications.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience integrating AI into software engineering and development workflows.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and design principles.

Compensation

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $131,000 per year depending on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
