Job description

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with at least 5+ years of full-stack application development experience. This is a fully remote role (EST or CST candidates only). The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer focused on coding, experienced with CI/CD, and comfortable working in fast-paced Agile environments using Azure. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams while delivering high-quality solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code for both front-end and back-end components.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and timely delivery of software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build complex system architectures.
• Perform performance analysis, capacity management, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems.
• Conduct unit, integration, and load testing to ensure system stability and reliability.
• Work in Agile (scrum) development environments to deliver software incrementally.
• Utilize Azure DevOps tools and environments for development and deployment.
• Develop RESTful web services and integrate with third-party APIs.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, coding standards, and overall system design.
• Document code, technical designs, and processes for knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 5+ years of full-stack application development experience.
• Experience building and consuming web services, RESTful APIs, and using tools like Postman, SoapUI, and Fiddler.
• Working knowledge of Git or similar version-control systems.
• Experience with production Azure DevOps environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Serverless Azure Compute Services (App Services, Azure Functions).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (scrum).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jasmine/Karma/XUnit), integration testing, and load-testing (JMeter).
• Understanding of SOLID design principles and secure coding practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with Azure data infrastructure services such as Azure Event Hubs, Service Bus.
• Experience with Azure storage services such as Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL.
• Familiarity with Azure Cognitive Search, SharePoint Search, and Lucene syntax.
• Understanding of Azure DevOps pipelines and YAML configuration.
