TalentPluto is seeking a full stack engineering intern who will ship production-ready features across frontend and backend services. You will own features from rough ideas through design, implementation, and release, building user-facing capabilities used by both hiring teams and candidates in our network.

The role sits onsite in New York City and sits at the intersection of AI, recruiting, and labor markets, offering broad exposure to React interfaces, APIs, data models, and AI-driven

Qualifications

• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals.
• Experience building with React, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
• Comfort learning backend systems, APIs, and databases.
• Has shipped meaningful work before (side projects, class projects, open-source, or internship).
• Strong problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn quickly.
• Clear communicator who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship user-facing features across the frontend and the backend services supporting them.
• Work with APIs, data models, and databases, and extend them as features require.
• Take features from a rough problem statement through design, implementation, and release.
• Write code that other engineers can read and extend, and review theirs.
• Investigate bugs and performance issues in production and fix the underlying cause.
