Job summary

Poolside is seeking a full-time, remote senior full-stack product engineer to turn model-training components—experiments, trajectories, evals, data inspection—into user-friendly interfaces. You will own surfaces from backend to web UI for researchers and engineers building our models.

• Strong full-stack engineering across backend and UI.
• Solid product intuition and independent decision-making.
• Proficiency with TypeScript/React and a backend language.

Responsibilities

• Own product surfaces end-to-end: backend services, APIs, and web UI for the Model Factory.
• Turn complex model-training parts into trusted interfaces used daily.
• Understand researchers’ needs, identify bottlenecks, and ship new platforms and features.
• Build on top of an internal design system with other teams contributing UI.
• Iterate quickly based on feedback, focusing on adoption and usability.
• Uphold quality across the stack: performance, reliability, and high-utility interfaces.
