Job summary

CEI is seeking a proactive Back Full Stack IAM Application Developer for hybrid work in Philadelphia, PA. You will design and implement secure IAM solutions with modern Angular front ends and Java-based services.

This contract on-site role requires hands-on experience with AWS, REST APIs, and enterprise security practices. You will collaborate with security and enterprise teams to deliver reliable tools and cloud migration support.

Qualifications

• Experience as a full stack developer supporting IAM, security, or enterprise apps.
• Hands-on Angular development with recent versions, including migration planning for newer releases.
• Strong backend development experience with Java 17 and Spring framework.
• Experience with Spring Security and secure coding practices.
• Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs.
• Hands-on AWS and cloud-native development experience.
• Experience with MySQL and MongoDB databases.
• Familiarity with security protocols and enterprise security standards.
• Ability to work independently and design original technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications supporting security and IAM functions.
• Build and enhance full stack solutions using modern Angular on the front end and Java-based services on the back end.
• Develop and support REST APIs and integrations across a mix of internal security applications.
• Follow secure development practices, support security scans, and ensure applications meet Comcast compliance standards.
• Contribute to cloud-native development practices and support the team’s AWS cloud migration journey.
• Create technical designs and propose solutions independently rather than relying solely on detailed direction.
• Lead development efforts, provide technical guidance to team members, and help drive delivery across multiple workstreams.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience as a full stack developer, ideally supporting IAM, security, or enterprise application teams.
• Hands-on front-end development experience with Angular, including recent versions; experience with Angular 20 or 21 and migration planning for Angular 22 is highly relevant.
• Strong back-end development experience with Java 17 and the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with Spring Security and secure application development practices.
• Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL and MongoDB.
• Working knowledge of Node.js is preferred where applicable to existing services or tooling.
• Familiarity with security protocols, compliance requirements, and enterprise security standards.
• Ability to work independently, develop original technical designs, and make sound engineering recommendations.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience supporting IAM platforms, security tools, or application portfolios within a large enterprise environment.
• Experience contributing to cloud migration initiatives, especially modernization of existing applications for AWS.
• Demonstrated ability to take technical ownership, mentor or guide developers, and lead development delivery.
• Experience working in environments with formal security scans, compliance reviews, and secure coding standards.
