Persistent Systems Limited is seeking an AI Developer to design, build, and optimize document ingestion, extraction, validation, and comparison capabilities to modernize Middle Office authorization workflows. You will deliver AI models with confidence scoring, handle exceptions, and integrate systems using Python and Java back-end services.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Agentic AI, LangChain, RAG, and ADK, plus strong Python and Java backend skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Hands-on experience in developing AI/ML or Generative AI projects.
• REST APIs and distributed systems design.
• Hands-on experience on Python, LLMs, GenAI, and agent-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize document ingestion, extraction, validation, and comparison capabilities.
• Hands-on delivery of AI models, confidence scoring, exception handling, and system integrations.
• Develop back-end services using Java (Spring Web Flux) and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with LangChain, RAG, and ADK to implement agents and workflows.
• Ensure observability, testing, and reliability of AI-enabled pipelines.

The Al Developer will design, build, and optimize document ingestion, extraction, validation, and comparison capabilities to modernize Middle Office authorization workflows. This role focuses on hands-on delivery of Al models, confidence scoring, exception handling, and system integrations.

What You'll Do:

• Java Backend: Hands on experience on Spring Web flux, Reactive Java, Restful APIs, Kafka, Redis.
• Should be good in design For AI: (Agentic AI) Conversational AI
• Hands on working knowledge of building Agents (preferably using ADK), Lang chain, RAG, NEO4J (added advantage – Good to have)
• Very strong in Python, Evals, Observability, Familiarity with developing MCP servers, A2A, py-Test
