RevStar is seeking a Full Stack Forward Deployed Engineer to build enterprise-grade cloud apps with a high-performance UI and secure backend services. You will deliver responsive React frontends, architect Node.js microservices, and integrate AWS search and data pipelines in a client-facing, Agile environment.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and clients to refine requirements and demo features, while maintaining robust CI/CD and testing practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional full-stack experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep expertise in ReactJS, Node.js, Express, RESTful APIs, and database design (SQL & NoSQL).
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3).
• Strong communication and client-facing agile collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build performant, accessible web apps in ReactJS with TypeScript patterns.
• Design and deploy secure RESTful APIs and microservices on AWS.

Position: Full Stack Forward Deployed Engineer

Reports To: Product Manager/Engineering Lead

Location: Remote (AZ, FL, TX)

RevStar is an AI-first innovation shop and AWS Advanced Tier Partner delivering end-to-end cloud, data, and AI solutions for forward-thinking clients. We are seeking an experienced Full Stack JavaScript Web Developer to build responsive React frontends, architect secure Node.js microservices, and integrate modern AWS search and data pipelines. In this role, you will work in an agile, client-facing environment where you turn complex business problems into production-grade digital products.

Frontend Architecture & UI Delivery

• Build performant, accessible, and responsive web applications in ReactJS using modern JavaScript and TypeScript patterns.
• Translate Figma mockups into reusable component libraries that drive consistent user experiences across client products.
• Optimize client-side performance, state management, and user interaction flows.

Backend Engineering & AWS Integration

• Design and deploy secure, scalable RESTful APIs and backend microservices using Node.js, Express, and AWS serverless tooling (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS).
• Model and manage structured and unstructured data using SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, RDS, S3).
• Maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, and automated testing suites to ensure production-grade code quality.

Advanced Search & Data Workflows

• Implement enterprise search, indexing, and data retrieval capabilities using Amazon OpenSearch and Kendra.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build ETL pipelines that unify disparate client data sources into searchable, actionable architectures.
• Integrate identity management and authentication best practices using AWS Cognito.

Agile Client Delivery & Collaboration

• Partner directly with Product Managers, UX Designers, and client stakeholders to refine requirements and demo completed features.
• Active participant in architecture reviews, sprint ceremonies, and team code reviews to elevate engineering standards across projects.

Experience

3–5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience utilizing JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Core Stack: Deep expertise in ReactJS, Node.js, Express, RESTful APIs, and database design (SQL & NoSQL).
• AWS Cloud Depth: Proven track record building and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3).
• Excellent written and verbal communication habits with experience (or strong desire) working in client-facing agile teams.
• Experience implementing semantic search or working with LLMs in search pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS Glue, Athena, Step Functions, or other ETL tooling.
• Experience with React Native or mobile-focused frontends.
