Job summary

Altium Limited is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to design and maintain user-facing features for Octopart.com, including Part Searching and Exploration. You will also develop web services powering these features in a hybrid model with 3 days per week at our Cambridge office.

Expect hands-on work across frontend and backend, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and opportunities to shape product features from concept to reality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full-stack Software Engineer with 4+ years in web application development.
• Strong UI development experience with TypeScript.
• Backend development experience with Node.js or other languages.
• Understanding of design patterns and system workflows.
• Good communication with engineers and stakeholders.
• Product ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build Web User Interfaces with TypeScript using frameworks like Next.js/React.
• Design and implement web services and manage server-side logic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data platform engineers and DevOps.
• API schema design with backend engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards.
