Job summary

Compunnel Inc. is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join the Corporate Services Technology – Compliance Technology team. You will build scalable enterprise applications, APIs, and modern Angular-based UIs while delivering across front-end and back-end technologies.

The role emphasizes independent work and ownership, with a 50/50 split between front-end and back-end work and a welcoming stance for 70/30 frontend-heavy backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications across front-end and back-end technologies.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Node.js.
• Create responsive and accessible UIs using Angular Material, Bootstrap, CSS, and AG Grid.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, UX designers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Deploy and support applications in cloud-native environments, including AWS and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• Ensure applications meet standards for security, scalability, reliability, performance, and observability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join a Corporate Services Technology – Compliance Technology team. This role will focus on building scalable enterprise applications, developing APIs and event-driven services, and delivering modern Angular-based user interfaces.

The ideal candidate is an independent engineer who can work effectively across both front-end and back-end technologies.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Java

• Strong Angular experience, preferably with recent versions
