Job summary

Figure is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer in San Jose to build, troubleshoot, and maintain our in-house service, logistics, and operations software, including ticketing, fleet tracking, route planning, and inventory management.

You will collaborate five days a week in-office with cross-functional teams across service, logistics, operations and product, delivering scalable solutions and robust tests using Python, TypeScript, Linux, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industry experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Linux systems
• Demonstrable systems design experience
• Proven experience deploying and maintaining highly available, reliable, fault tolerant applications on Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of SCM (Git) and TDD (Pytest, Vitest, Playwright)
• Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, manufacturing, infrastructure, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement improvements to our existing suite of service and fleet software.
• Spend time with stakeholders responding to pain points, gathering user stories, and increasing test coverage.
• Develop user-friendly interfaces and workflows to streamline warehouse operations and provide insights.
