Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a skilled frontend engineer to design and deliver scalable React applications across enterprise workflows, with emphasis on accessibility and performance.

The role involves building Hasura GraphQL schemas, secure APIs, and integrating with PostgreSQL, Databricks, Stardog, and AI agents, while collaborating with product and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, accessible, and scalable React applications, reusable components, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Build configurable UI that presents signals, insights, and AI-generated content across workflows.
• Develop Hasura GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, actions, relationships, and permissions.
• Design and implement secure REST and GraphQL APIs that integrate with PostgreSQL and enterprise platforms.
• Implement API contracts, authentication, authorization, RBAC, data permissions, validation, error handling, pagination, filtering, sorting, and versioning.
• Integrate applications with AI agents, signal detection, and workflow orchestration.
• Optimize performance, state management, caching, and API response times.
• Develop automated tests and align builds, testing, and deployments with CI/CD.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, data engineers, AI engineers, and QA to contribute guidance and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive, accessible, and scalable React applications, reusable components, shared libraries, dashboards, forms, and data visualizations.
• Develop configurable, composable UI capabilities that dynamically present signals, insights, drivers, recommendations, and AI agent-generated content across business workflows.
• Build and maintain Hasura GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, actions, relationships, and permissions.
• Design and implement secure REST and GraphQL APIs and backend services that integrate with PostgreSQL, Databricks, Stardog, AI agents, and other enterprise platforms.
• Implement robust API contracts, authentication, authorization, role-based access controls, data-level permissions, validation, error handling, pagination, filtering, sorting, and versioning.
• Integrate applications with AI agents, signal detection, root-cause analysis, recommendation, workflow orchestration, distributed, and event-driven services.
• Optimize application performance, rendering, state management, caching, API response times, data retrieval, observability, and user feedback.
• Develop automated unit, component, integration, API, and end-to-end tests and integrate application builds, testing, and deployments with CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot application, API, integration, and production issues and create technical documentation, API specifications, component guidelines, and reusable development standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, data engineers, AI engineers, architects, QA engineers, and other clients while contributing technical guidance, code reviews, design discussions, and engineering standards.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
