Ariadne is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join a NIH/NLM sponsored project in North Bethesda, MD. You will build scalable web apps using Python and Django, partner with scientists, and ship data-visualization features for millions of daily users.

The role emphasizes robust code, automated tests, and collaboration within an agile team. A BS in CS or a related field plus 5+ years of software development is expected, with strong SQL and REST API experience.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years of software development experience.
• BS in Computer Science or related field (engineering, physics) or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Python, Django, JavaScript, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience in design and development of modern web applications and services.
• Familiarity with relational databases.
• Self-initiated with strong technical and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Build robust, scalable, user-facing web applications in Python/Django supporting millions of daily users.
• Develop new functionality for user interaction and data visualization using modern APIs and frameworks.
• Work within an agile product team to deliver an excellent user experience.
