Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Software Engineer to oversee application development, modification, and maintenance within the Technology department. This role monitors system applications, ensures smooth operations, and generates reports outlining findings and solutions. The position is onsite with regular office days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and installation of new hardware and software
• Installs and configures systems and other software
• Tests installed software for malfunction detection
• Identifies and resolves business systems issues
• Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
• Monitors and tests system performance
• Maintains full ownership of a process typically
• Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices
• May act as a procedural expert
• May lead the work of junior level associates
