Job summary
Virtusa is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular. You will build RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems, while delivering responsive front-end experiences.
You will collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and Architects in an Agile environment, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to enable automated deployments.
Qualifications
- Experience building enterprise-grade applications with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on microservices design, development, and deployment.
- Strong Angular (v10+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive UI.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Build responsive front-end applications with Angular.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and Architects to define technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated deployments.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver features on schedule.
