Job summary

Alarm.com is seeking a Software Engineer II on the Home Automation Experience Team to own end-to-end feature delivery across web, mobile, and backend services. You’ll collaborate with PM, QE, and fellow engineers to design and implement high-impact capabilities for customers and dealers.

The role emphasizes rapid iteration within a collaborative environment, exposure to a broad IoT/SaaS stack including C#/.NET, Node.js, React, Kafka, Kubernetes, and cloud services, and a culture that values

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years professional software development experience.
• Solid frontend engineering with modern JS/TS frameworks.
• Solid backend APIs with REST/GraphQL.
• Strong OO design, SOLID, and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack software across web, mobile, and backend services.
• Participate in requirements, design, and deployment with cross-team collaboration.
• Evaluate new technologies and apply them to complex goals.
• Write clean, well-structured, testable code across stack.
• Drive technical decisions through code reviews and delivery.
