Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for Internal Systems to design and build critical software used across SpaceX operations and Starlink networks. You will own from concept to deployment, solving complex problems with a collaborative team in a high-paced environment.

You should have 1+ years of full-stack experience and a strong foundation in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, or Java, plus experience with Docker/Kubernetes and SPAs. On-site in Hawthorne, CA with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software experience
• 1+ years of experience in full stack development
• Proficiency in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java or similar OO language
• Experience with single-page web applications
• Experience with version control, CI/CD concepts
• Expertise in designing software systems
• Experience with build systems and package management
• Experience with Unix-like OS tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
• Experience with in-stream data processing (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Front-end experience in Angular/React or similar JS framework
• Database experience with PostgreSQL/SQL Server

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX
• Create new applications to improve operations
• Build prototypes to test design concepts and constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Deep dive into users' problems to craft efficient solutions
• Contribute to architecture, design, and code reviews
