Benchling is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Insights team in San Francisco. This role involves building innovative data analysis experiences for scientists, utilizing both front-end and back-end technologies.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful product features while contributing to a collaborative engineering culture. The position offers a hybrid work environment with expected in-office attendance of 3 days a week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally in a full stack role.
• Familiarity using AI tools as part of your engineering workflow is a strong plus.
• Experience developing user-facing experiences with React.

Responsibilities

• Build and own core features for our scientific data analysis product.
• Build across our stack, tackling challenges from the front-end UI to backend models.
