Job summary

General Medicine is seeking a software engineer to help build a healthcare store platform that makes it simple to shop for care. You’ll work on consumer-facing features, scale performance, and collaborate with design, operations, and clinical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Base compensation is 150k–225k annually plus equity options. The role is based in our San Francisco or Boston offices, with a preference for 3–5 days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building web apps as a full-stack engineer.
• Experience with modern infra tooling; proficiency in a modern tech stack (we currently use AWS, Ruby on Rails, and NextJS).

Responsibilities

• Write product requirements documents and SQL to assess feature performance.
• Own QA and ensure end-to-end quality.
• Collaborate with design, operations, and clinical stakeholders to deliver a great product.
