Vivid Money is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus to ship features end to end—from GraphQL API to a React/TypeScript UI. You will bring real frontend depth to a small team, shaping complex surfaces like dependency graphs and recovery dashboards for users.

Roughly 70-80% of your time is frontend; the rest is backend work when required. You will collaborate with Product and Backend to turn rough ideas into shipped features quickly, leveraging AI tooling along the way.

Qualifications

About the Role

We're hiring a Full Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus to take features end to end: from data model and API through the React/TypeScript UI to the final polish. You'll bring real frontend depth to a small team, shape how complex surfaces like dependency graphs and recovery dashboards feel to use, and work closely with Product and Backend to turn rough ideas into shipped features quickly. Roughly 70-80% of your time is frontend; the rest is backend work when a feature needs it.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship product features end to end: GraphQL API, React/TypeScript frontend, and final polish

• Bring frontend expertise to the team: component patterns, state and data layers, performance, and the quality of what customers see

• Design complex, data-dense interfaces such as dependency-graph exploration, recovery dashboards, and restore-test flows

• Work closely with Product and Backend to turn rough ideas into shipped features, using AI tooling throughout the development lifecycle

• Contribute to backend services (Python, FastAPI, GraphQL) when a feature calls for it

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in a Full Stack or Frontend engineering role, with deep expertise in React and TypeScript

• Strong understanding of modern frontend fundamentals: state management, data fetching, and performance

• Experience shipping complete features end to end (backend logic, API, UI) in a production SaaS product

• Comfortable working in a backend of any major language (ours is Python with GraphQL)

• Strong eye for UI/UX and the ability to make practical decisions in a fast-moving environment

• Experience with GraphQL, TanStack, Tailwind, or graph / data-visualization UIs - advantage

• Early-stage startup experience - advantage
