Expression, headquartered in Washington, DC, is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join their team, focusing on building and maintaining scalable web applications across front-end and back-end stacks. The role requires strong JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and cloud experience (AWS or Azure), plus a solid command of databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL.

U.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in engineering, CS, or related field; 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of recent full-stack development experience.
• US citizenship and eligibility to obtain security clearance.
• Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.
• Frontend and backend proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles.
• Experience with Node.js, React; Vue or Angular.
• Linux/Unix command line proficiency.
• Git version control experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement front-end website architecture.
• Develop and maintain server-side applications.
• Write clean and efficient code using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js.
• Ensure the responsiveness of applications.
• Test and debug applications.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
