Job summary

The Boeing Company in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer (Associate/Experienced) to contribute to the FishTools program within the Ground Mission Management Software team.

You'll develop front-end interfaces and cloud-based services, align with DevSecOps practices, and work with UX designers across large, scalable systems.

This role requires a Top-Secret clearance, strong OO and distributed systems background, and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline.
• Active Top-Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI eligibility (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
• Ability to obtain Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph after start date.
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing software for complex systems (Distributed Systems, Multi-Threaded and Multi-Process Applications).
• 1+ years of experience in object-oriented programming.
• Experience with distributed version control systems such as GitHub, IBM Rational Team Concert, etc.

Responsibilities

• Software development tasks including detailed software design, coding, and testing of customer desired features/user stories.
• Analyzing customer requirements and ensuring software implementations meet functional requirements.
• Briefing software designs and demonstrating software release functionality to peers.
• Develop and sustain new and existing applications; troubleshoot and resolve various software issues.
• Contribute to the creation of new distributed components and interactions that align with the future system architecture.
