Job summary

A technology firm specializing in food processing is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to the ShinkeiOS platform. The role includes designing and maintaining backend services, developing user-friendly interfaces, and collaborating with robotics and operations teams. Candidates should have experience in building full stack applications, proficiency in frontend and backend technologies, and a strong understanding of databases and CI/CD principles. This is a 100% in-person position in El Segundo, CA.

Qualifications

• Professional experience building and owning full stack applications in production environments.
• Strong proficiency with both frontend and backend technologies like React, Node.js, or Python.
• Solid understanding of relational and/or non-relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Experience applying UX/UI design principles to build clear, effective user interfaces.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus).
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Comfort taking ownership in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ShinkeiOS, our internal full stack web application.
• Build and own backend services and APIs for data management and reporting.
• Develop intuitive frontend experiences that translate complex operational needs.
• Implement and maintain foundational DevOps workflows.
• Collaborate closely with robotics, operations, and business teams.
• Use real-world feedback and operational data to improve system performance.
