Job summary

IMG Academy seeks a talented Full-Stack Engineer to design, implement, test, and maintain web applications. You will develop both front-end and back-end components and collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality software.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience and proficiency with JavaScript, Ruby or PHP, Node.js, React, RESTful APIs, databases, Docker, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, SCSS, Liquid, Twig.
• Back-end technologies: Ruby, PHP, Node.js.
• Development tools: Composer, Brew, NVM/NPM.
• Server and database management: Linux, Apache, MySQL, YAML.
• Leveraging Claude AI.
• Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Experience with relational and SQL databases.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with version control using Git/GitHub.
• Experience with Enterprise Cloudflare services.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern frameworks and technologies
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement user-friendly interfaces
• Build and integrate APIs to support application functionality
• Work with databases, ensuring optimal data modeling and performance
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Document and define disaster and succession plans for software solutions
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to enhance product development
