Job summary

Spatial Front, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, build, and modernize secure, high-availability systems in a federal Agile environment. You will work on APIs, UI, data integrations, and AI-enabled features, leveraging Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS services.

The role emphasizes designing microservices, serverless architectures, and secure coding practices to deliver scalable solutions with reliable performance and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• Five or more years of backend or full stack application development experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS or Fargate, CloudFormation, S3, SNS, and SQS.
• Experience designing microservices, serverless applications, asynchronous workflows, and event driven integrations.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Aurora PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, including data modeling and performance tuning.
• Experience with automated testing, Git based development, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and production troubleshooting.
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, logging, API protection, vulnerability remediation, and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full stack features, APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
• Build and support AWS cloud native solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/Fargate, S3, and related services.
• Develop secure data solutions using PostgreSQL/Aurora PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Modernize legacy services for AWS while preserving data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, architects, QA, DevSecOps, and developers throughout lifecycle.
• Create tests, participate in code reviews, and support CI/CD, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
