Job summary

3Pillar is seeking a Software Engineer, Full Stack to join a cybersecurity training platform project for defense contractors and federal agencies. You will ship features using Angular and Node/TypeScript in an agentic workflow with human review on every change.

You will build, test, and ship across Angular front ends and Express APIs with PostgreSQL, following fork-based workflows and two peer reviews per PR. Strong English communication is essential to collaborate with client engineers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional full-stack experience with TypeScript.
• Proficient with Angular (latest) and Material Design.
• Node.js/Express API development with PostgreSQL schema and queries.
• Strong testing habit: unit tests and Playwright end-to-end tests.
• Comfort with Git forks, disciplined PRs and code reviews.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to clarify requirements with clients.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features across Angular front ends and Node/Express APIs backed by PostgreSQL.
• Translate ticket requirements into scoped GitHub PRs with clear context.
• Write tests and attach screenshots for UI changes.
• Leverage agentic tools for coding, review, and documentation; communicate knowledge gaps.
• Submit PRs from forks, engage with reviewers, and keep tickets current in project tools.
• Participate in daily standups and coordinate with client engineers to resolve blockers.
