Qualifications

• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Production experience building and deploying an AI agent into production.
• Experience deploying applications to AWS serving real production traffic.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent).
• Experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex for LLM workflows.
• Experience building apps handling large-scale datasets and real-time workloads.
• Ability to design AI evaluation frameworks and feedback systems.
• Strong observability know-how with Datadog, OpenTelemetry or CloudWatch.
• Proven ability to debug and resolve production incidents end-to-end.
• Clear, defendable system design decisions based on hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy production AI agents that manage operational workflows end to end.

We're partnering with an early-stage AI company transforming how large-scale supply chain businesses operate. They're building AI agents that take ownership of entire operational workflows, from customer service and order management through to procurement and inventory planning.

They're looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong AI experience to build and ship these systems into production. You'll work across the full stack, combining TypeScript, React, AWS and AI agent technology to build products that directly power critical customer operations.

What You'll Do

• Build and deploy production AI agents that manage operational workflows end to end.
• Design and ship full-stack features using TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS and React.
• Build systems capable of processing large-scale orders, catalogues and operational datasets.
• Design and implement evaluation frameworks to measure and improve AI agent performance.
• Build feedback loops and self-learning systems that continuously improve agent outcomes.
• Develop and manage AWS infrastructure using services such as Lambda, ECS, RDS and S3.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Build observability into systems from day one, including logging, tracing, monitoring and alerting.
• Own features through the full lifecycle - architecture, development, deployment, monitoring and iteration.
• Personally troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and system failures.
• Use AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code or Copilot to accelerate development while maintaining strong engineering standards.

Who We're Looking For

• 3-7 years' professional software engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS and React
• Experience building and deploying at least one AI agent into production beyond the prototype stage.
• Experience deploying applications to AWS that serve real production traffic.
• Production experience with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with LLM and agent frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Experience building applications that work with large-scale datasets.
• Experience designing AI evaluation frameworks and feedback systems.
• Strong understanding of production observability using tools such as Datadog, OpenTelemetry or CloudWatch.
• Experience personally debugging and resolving production failures from detection through to resolution.li>
• Strong system design skills, with the ability to clearly explain and defend architectural decisions you've personally made.
• Experience writing production software before the widespread adoption of LLM-assisted development.
