Sonata Software is seeking a Senior-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to maintain and enhance our web applications and data pipelines. This remote-US contract role demands 7+ years of experience and strong Python/API/Cloud skills.

You will collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to implement technical roadmaps in an Agile environment, ensuring secure, scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years building full-stack web apps in cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years SQL or equivalent on large multi-table datasets.
• 2+ years as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team.
• Experience building full-stack web apps using Python.
• Familiarity with relational databases.
• Experience with API design and development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience security and handling sensitive data.

Roles and Responsibilities-

About Role:

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, we maintain, improve,and expand our web application and data pipelines. We're looking for anengineer who knows that writing new code is not always the solution to aproblem, but when technological changes are needed, they create secure,maintainable, performant, correct, scalable, and stable solutions to thecomplex and unique challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Developand implement scalable and performant solutions.
• Partner,as a peer, with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholdersthroughout to develop and execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes
• Thoroughpull request reviews for other developers and be receptive to critical feedbackon your own work

Qualifications:

• BS/BTech(or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+years’ experience as an engineer building full-stack web applications as partof a cross-functional team
• 3+years of experience working with SQL or other database querying language onlarge multi-table data sets
• 2+years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a teamsetting, solving for short-term and long-term business value

Mandatory Skills:

• Experiencebuilding a full stack web application(Python)
• Familiaritywith relational database systems
• Experiencewith API design and development
• Experiencewith cloud based technologies such as AWS, Azure or google cloud
• Knowledgeof containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker andKubernetes
• Familiaritywith continuous integration and continuous deployment(CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data

Good to Have:

• Experience with health-tech systems, like ElectronicHealth Records, Clinical data, etc.
