Job description

We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer for a contract position (6+ months) based remotely in the United States. In this role, you will develop and implement scalable, performant solutions while collaborating with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to shape technical roadmaps using Agile methodologies. You will conduct thorough code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• Required
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience as an engineer building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team
  • 3+ years of experience working with SQL or other database querying language on large multi-table datasets
  • 2+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting, solving for short-term and long-term business value
  • Experience building a full-stack web application using Python
  • Proficiency with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Ember)
  • Expertise in the Python language
  • Familiarity with relational database systems
  • Experience with API design and development
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
