Job summary

Aretec, Inc. is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to craft the client’s Greenfield AI Solution experiences within the client’s enterprise search platform. You will build React interfaces, backend APIs, reports, sessions, authentication, citations, and user workflows across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive React interfaces for the client’s Greenfield AI Solution within the enterprise search platform.
• Build and integrate backend APIs supporting reports, sessions, authentication, user workflows, and application state.
• Create clear experiences for summaries, findings, citations, and navigation back to source documents.
• Design data-heavy interfaces that show results with clarity about uncertainty and provenance.
• Collaborate with AI/backend and data engineers on API contracts, error handling, performance, and testing.
• Reuse existing enterprise search platform capabilities to avoid duplicating functionality.
• Troubleshoot across frontend, backend, authentication, and integration layers.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and technical documentation with feedback loops.

What We are Looking For

Aretec is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to create intuitive the client's Greenfield AI Solution experiences within the the client's enterprise search platform platform. You will build React interfaces, backend APIs, reports, session and authentication integrations, citations, and user workflows while solving issues across the application stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible React interfaces for the client's Greenfield AI Solution capabilities within the the client's enterprise search platform platform.
• Build and integrate backend APIs that support reports, sessions, authentication, user workflows, and application state.
• Create clear experiences for summaries, findings, supporting citations, and navigation back to source documents.
• Design data-heavy interfaces that help users review results without obscuring uncertainty or source provenance.
• Collaborate with AI/backend and data engineers on API contracts, error handling, performance, and integration testing.
• Reuse appropriate the client's enterprise search platform and enterprise-data-platform capabilities instead of duplicating existing functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend, backend, authentication, and integration layers.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, technical documentation, and iterative user-feedback cycles.

The Skills We are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Experience integrating user interfaces with RESTful backend APIs.
• Ability to contribute to Python or comparable backend services when needed.
• Experience building data-heavy web applications, reports, or workflow-driven interfaces.
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, session management, and authentication integration.
• Strong debugging, testing, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across the application stack within an established product team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience presenting citations, provenance, or linked source material in an application.
• Familiarity with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Experience with data grids, document viewers, reporting interfaces, or spreadsheet-like components.
• Experience supporting federal, regulated, or security-conscious applications.

The Expectations of the Job

Day One

• Learn Aretec's mission, the client's Greenfield AI Solution workflows, the client's enterprise search platform design patterns, existing APIs, and the source-reference capabilities available through the enterprise-data-platform.
• Set up the development environment and build relationships across the integrated the client's enterprise search platform team.

Day Thirty

• Contribute to priority React and API work, including an initial user workflow or interface enhancement.
• Add appropriate frontend and integration tests.

Day Sixty

• Own a substantial UI-to-API workflow, including session, reporting, citation, or authentication behavior.
• Use stakeholder feedback to improve usability, accessibility, performance, and source transparency.

Day Ninety

• Take full ownership of key the client's Greenfield AI Solution full-stack initiatives from design through validated delivery.
• Identify reusable UI patterns and process improvements, and mentor teammates through reviews and collaborative problem-solving.
