Our client, an innovator in the environmental industry, are hiring a Full Stack Developer to join the team in New York. The successful candidate will join their growing software team, responsible for driving the development of their next-generation platform and ensuring smooth, scalable cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable backend services to support high-volume, real-time recycling operations.

• Create responsive, user-centric frontends.

• Develop and maintain software powering their AI-based platform, including customer portals, recycling centre dashboards and internal BI tools.

• Work closely with a collaborative, fast-moving team to enhance system performance and elevate the user experience.

• Support and evolve their cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, security and operational excellence.

Skillset

• At least 3 years of experience working across the full stack in a production environment.

• Proven ability to build scalable backend systems using Python and Flask.

• Hands-on experience crafting intuitive frontends with React, JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

• Strong grasp of SQL and relational database design.

• Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP or Azure.

• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices for authentication.

• Experience integrating with IoT devices or working at the intersection of hardware and software is a bonus.
