Protech Talent is helping a fast-growing US fintech startup hire a Fullstack Engineer. You’ll shape the financial backbone for American SMBs by building data-driven, automated workflows, and AI-powered insights. Join a hands-on team based at a Flatiron office, focused on rapid product iteration and customer impact.

The role targets building across the stack, collaborating with product, design, and customers, with a strong bias toward practical, revenue-relevant features and scalable architecture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of fullstack experience with React & Node (or Python/Go)
• Backend or frontend leaning acceptable
• Strong CS foundation; top-tier school preferred
• Experience shipping 0–1 products in early-stage startups
• SQL schema design and backend development
• Customer-focused and product-minded

Responsibilities

• Own and lead full-stack development across the lifecycle: architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and production support
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and SMB customers to translate business challenges into robust technical solutions
• Refine engineering tools, processes, and systems to scale productivity and improve quality
• Play a key role in shaping the engineering culture and best practices
• Contribute beyond engineering — value builders who lean in on product, design, and business to grow the product
