Role Summary

Intuitive, user-centered product design is the foundation of our business. Sitting at the intersection of product development, engineering, and customer success, the product design lead will be a critical, early leader at Adaptive - one who shapes our product to their vision. Through their work, the designer will synthesize complex concepts and user-experience demands into product concepts that delight and engage our customers.

Responsibilities

• Rely on user-centered design to create a product that will reshape the construction industry - from concept to execution

• Collaborate directly with our team of engineers and product managers to translate product requirements into intuitive solutions

• Rapidly integrate user feedback into design changes

• Advocate for product designs, improvements, and workflows based on your granular understanding of our customers and their needs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing beautiful, simple, and intuitive software products

• Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, product managers, and customer success

• Demonstrated ability to discover design requirements unique to your customer base

• Ability to lead and ideate software products and features from scratch

• Comfortable working in an unstructured, dynamic environment
