Lentech is hiring a Software Engineer!

Performs implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for agile software development to modernize systems. Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.

Area of Focus: Concentrates on using both back-end and front-end languages to build complete solutions.

Requirements

• Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
• Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
• Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross‑functional team

Preferred

• Experience with Java libraries to include MongoDB, Spring, and OSGi
• Experience with Perl, Python, Lua and NGINX
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative, and team‑oriented environment and balance long‑ and short‑term taskings

Education

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science and 14+ years of experience with software engineering, or 18+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is: $210,000.00-$225,000.00. The range shown below is the national average for the position. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
