# Full Stack EngineerFully Remote • Remote - Baltimore, MD 21244## OverviewSalary Range$85,000.00 - $125,000.00 Salary/yearLevelExperiencedEducation Level4 Year Degree## DescriptionWe're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help build, enhance, and support cloud-based applications across the front end, back end, and database layers. Working closely with UI\\UX designers, engineers, product stakeholders, and cross-functional partners, this person will turn business requirements into reliable, well-tested solutions; develop frontend web applications; and build and integrate RESTful APIs on AWS.The engineer will contribute across the full software development lifecycle — technical design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support — with a strong emphasis on AWS-based, serverless architectures. This role includes solutioning on AWS, applying Well-Architected Framework principles, and helping ensure applications are reliable, secure, and maintainable.**Responsibilities*** Build, test, maintain, and enhance full stack applications across the front end, back end, and database layers.* Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.* Develop frontend web applications using Angular or React, applying modern frontend design patterns and best practices.* Design and implement RESTful APIs using API Gateway and Lambda to support integration between applications and enterprise systems.* Design and implement backend/data storage solutions using RDS and/or DynamoDB, and integrate with S3 and related AWS services.* Define and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.* Partner with Cloud Engineering, DevSecOps, and application teams to implement CI/CD pipeline deployments using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.* Leverage AI coding agents/tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.* Monitor and troubleshoot application and integration issues in development and production environments, and document root cause and resolution steps.* Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver application solutions that support business and user needs.## QualificationsREQUIRED* US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.* Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.* Experience building frontend web applications using Angular or React, with strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills and familiarity with related frontend design patterns.* Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and full stack applications on AWS using API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and RDS or DynamoDB; solid understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.* Proficiency in Python for backend development, scripting, and integration tasks.* Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.* Experience with CI/CD build tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.* Familiarity with AI coding agents/tools and their use in the development workflow.* Strong problem-solving skills and experience collaborating with application and platform teams in an Agile environment.PREFERRED* Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) beyond coding agents (e.g., AI/ML integrations).* Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, including secure development, access controls, and auditability.* Prior experience with Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services or other government agencies.
