Job summary

VTG is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to support a large-scale program with IdAM/ICAM initiatives. You will design, develop, and modernize enterprise full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript.

You will build RESTful APIs, leverage Elasticsearch, and deploy in AWS EC2 environments. The role emphasizes unit testing, automated testing, code reviews, and mentoring other developers within an Agile/Scrum team.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• 6-10 years of professional software development experience.
• Demonstrated full stack development experience.
• Strong hands-on development with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript.
• AWS experience and RESTful API design.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and legacy system modernization.
• Proven ability to develop ETL processes and deploy within AWS EC2.

Overview We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to support a large-scale, 200+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs, Identity and Access Management (IdAM/ICAM), Authentication, Authorization, Attributes, and Digital Policy Management initiatives. What will you do? * Design, develop, maintain, and modernize enterprise full-stack applications.

• Develop backend applications and services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop modern frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Develop Java and Angular applications that leverage Elasticsearch.
• Maintain and modernize existing legacy applications while ensuring continuity of mission-critical services.
• Design, develop, and implement custom ETL methodologies and processes.
• Develop custom scripts to install, configure, and deploy application code within AWS EC2 instances.
• Leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in peer code reviews.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using Selenium.
• Troubleshoot software defects and implement technically sound solutions.
