Tata Consultancy Services in San Jose, CA seeks a full-stack developer skilled in React.js and Python to build scalable, real-time web applications. You will design reusable UI components, implement high-performance APIs with FastAPI, and ensure clean, maintainable code through strong OOP practices.

The role involves working on AI-powered interfaces, prompt engineering, RAG, and real-time streaming via SSE/WebSockets, with deployment on Google Cloud Platform.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in React.js to build dynamic, responsive interfaces.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs with FastAPI.
• Solid knowledge of OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Hands-on with GCP deployment and cloud hosting.
• Experience with Git version control and workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, unit testing, and code reviews.
• Experience with real-time UI tech (SSE/WebSockets, token streaming).
• Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, or MongoDB databases.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Frontend Development:
• Proficiency in React.js to build dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Experience with reusable components, React Hooks, and state management.
• Ability to integrate frontend applications with backend APIs
• Backend Development:
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience in designing and developing high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts (Inheritance, Polymorphism, Encapsulation, Abstraction) and design patterns to write clean, maintainable code

• Conversational AI:
• Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, AI Agents, Context Management
• Streaming Responses:
• Server-Sent Events (SSE), WebSockets, Token Streaming, Real-time Chat UI, Incremental Rendering
• Infrastructure & Tools:

Salary Range

$100,000 - $130,000 a year
