Job summary

Mid-States Distributing, a leading Farm, Ranch and Home Retail Cooperative, seeks a skilled web developer to join its IT team in Texas. You will build and maintain web-based applications across initiatives, handling both back-end services and front-end UI, and design APIs with modern practices.

You will collaborate with executives and the development team, with potential remote work and occasional in-office days. A strong background in Laravel and C# API/MVC is preferred.

Qualifications

• In-house developer role with potential remote work; office presence may be required occasionally.
• Proficiency with Laravel and C# API/MVC frameworks.
• Experience with Git, VSTS, Bitbucket or equivalent repository systems.
• 5 years of web development experience.
• Experience with Quasar and Electron is a plus.

As a talented developer, you will be working on both large and small projects that are sometimes stand alone and other times being integrated with CRM and ERP systems.

What You will Do:

• Develop and maintain web-based applications for the company’s different initiatives.
• Develop both back-end services and front-end UI’s.
• Design and develop APIs sticking to modern and best practices.
• Designing database/application structures that allow our applications to scale.
• Assist with the design and deployment of the full stack.
• Work directly with the company executives, development team, and other IT members
• Help contribute and be part of our IT committee.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to be an in-house developer, remote work is available currently. There will be times we need you in the office but most of the time you are able to work remotely.
• Love to work with Laravel and or C# API/MVC frameworks
• Experience with GIT, VSTS, Bitbucket, or other repository systems.
• 5 years of web development experience.
• Not required but very helpful to have experience with Quasar and Electron frameworks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean environment. The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping and significant fine finger dexterity.
