Millennial Software Solutions Inc. seeks a Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain software applications and microservices for Object-Based Intelligence and knowledge graph capabilities.

The ideal candidate will work with ontology engineers, data scientists, and Government stakeholders to build secure, scalable solutions, with API-driven architectures and cloud-native practices. This role emphasizes collaboration, performance, and AI/ML support.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain CI Polygraph as required.
• Willingness to work on-site 3 days/week with 2 days remote; depending on business needs.
• 15+ years with a Bachelor’s or 12+ years with a Graduate degree in software development/engineering.
• Experience building enterprise software using Java, Python, or C#.
• Proven track record delivering RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed apps.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines; Git familiarity.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Job Description

Millennial Software is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join our team. You will design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain software applications and services supporting Object-Based Intelligence (OBI) mission requirements, enterprise ontologies, and knowledge graph capabilities. Our ideal candidate is an experienced Software Engineer who can develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while working across modern software development and DevSecOps environments.

You will work closely with ontology engineers, database engineers, data scientists, analysts, and Government stakeholders to translate mission requirements into effective software solutions. This role will support semantic data integration, knowledge management, advanced analytics, and AI/ML capabilities through the development of APIs, microservices, and applications that integrate enterprise data sources and knowledge graph technologies.

Essential Functions

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and microservices supporting mission requirements.
• Develop APIs and backend services that integrate with enterprise ontologies, knowledge graphs, semantic databases, and object-management systems.
• Implement software solutions utilizing Semantic Web technologies, including RDF, OWL, SPARQL, and graph-based data models.
• Collaborate with technical teams and Government stakeholders to translate mission requirements into scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Develop secure, containerized applications using modern software engineering and cloud-native practices.
• Integrate heterogeneous data sources through RESTful APIs, messaging services, and enterprise data integration frameworks.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and system tests while contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability to support mission operations and advanced analytics.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, code reviews, technical design sessions, and backlog refinement.
• Maintain software design documentation, interface specifications, API documentation, and technical implementation guides.
• Support AI/ML initiatives by developing software services that provide access to semantic data, knowledge graphs, and contextual reasoning capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to Government personnel and project team members as appropriate.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Active TS/SCI clearance

• 17+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12+ years of relevant experience with a Graduate Degree
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise software applications using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications
• Experience integrating applications with relational databases, graph databases, or semantic data platforms
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Object-Based Intelligence, Intelligence Community, or Department of Defense mission systems
• Experience developing applications utilizing Semantic Web technologies, including RDF, OWL, SPARQL, knowledge graphs, or graph databases
• Experience integrating AI/ML services, large language models (LLMs), or advanced analytics into enterprise applications
• Experience with cloud-native application development using AWS, Azure, or Red Hat OpenShift
