Job summary

NewGen Technologies is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer to lead the design and delivery of enterprise web solutions built with Java and Spring Boot, including REST APIs, microservices, and data access layers.

You will guide architecture, ensure secure, scalable code, and mentor teams while delivering to cloud or enterprise environments. Strong front-end skills with Angular or React and solid CI/CD practices are required.

Job description

Lead the design and delivery of full-stack enterprise web solutions using Java and Spring Boot across user interfaces, REST APIs, microservices, application services, and data-access layers, with emphasis on secure, scalable, resilient, testable, and maintainable software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot
• Build secure RESTful APIs, microservices, server-side business logic, and data-access components using Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and relational databases
• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and an applicable front-end framework such as Angular or React
• Apply object-oriented design, secure coding, authentication and authorization, exception handling, logging, automated testing, source control, and code-review practices
• Provide senior-level technical leadership for application architecture, integration, performance, troubleshooting, documentation, CI/CD, containerization, and deployment in cloud or enterprise environments

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• Able to obtain a Public Trust designation for access to sensitive, unclassified government information
• At least 10 years of relevant experience with an Associate degree, including hands-on Java full-stack development using Spring boot, REST APIs or microservices, front-end technologies, and relational data-access components. Experience should demonstrate senior-level responsibility for application architecture, integration, code quality, troubleshooting, and delivery.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
