Job summary

Invictus Pro Talent is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java/J2EE, Node.js or React, RESTful services, and modern web technologies. You will collaborate across teams in an agile environment, emphasizing continuous delivery, testing, and UX, with experience in AWS and both SQL and NoSQL databases.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities and a drive to learn new languages and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python or HTML.
• Full stack development experience using Java, Node.js or React, RESTful, JSON, Ajax & CSS.
• Cloud-based technology experience, preferably AWS.
• Understanding of decoupled architecture design (REST API).
• Experience building web services (REST/JSON).
• Experience with relational databases (MS SQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Experience with source code/configuration management tools (CVS, Github).
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Willingness to learn new languages and frameworks.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and deliver with speed and quality.

• Participates in sprint planning; provides work estimates to deliver product stories; owns development stories
• Develops solutions on variety of platforms according to business requirements
• Completes required coding to satisfy the defined acceptance criteria and deliver desired outcome
• Leads solution design, considering risks, mitigations, performance, user experience, and testability
• Assists in development of automated testing and supporting code as necessary
• Completes required documentation to communicate information to deployment, maintenance, and business teams

Qualifications

• Prior software development experience using one or more: Java, J2EE, Javascript, Python, HTML, etc
• Experience in Full stack Development using Java, Node.js or React, RESTful, JSON, Ajax & CSS
• Experience in Cloud based technology (AWS preferred)
• Working Knowledge of decoupled architecture design (i.e REST API)
• Experience building web services (REST/JSON)
• Experience with relational database development (data modeling, stored procedures, Database queries (MS SQL, MySQL)
• Experience with NoSQL database technologies (ex. MongoDB)
• Experience with Source Code/configuration management tools (CVS, Github)
• Strong problem solving and Analytical thinking
