Job summary

Anakim Consulting Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Developer (Geospatial) to visualize geospatial data in an AWS enterprise cloud environment. You will apply PHP, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML to build and maintain mapping applications.

Collaborate with a skilled web development team and the USGS EROS Integrated Science Applications Branch. This is an on-site role in Sioux Falls, SD; you must be able to obtain Public Trust access.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with PHP, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML.
• Experience visualizing geospatial data and building mapping apps.
• AWS enterprise cloud environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to develop and maintain websites and mapping applications for visualizing geospatial data.
• Develop Python scripts that produce geospatial data products.

Job Description

Anakim Consulting Inc. is hiring a Full Stack Developer with experience to support a wide range of technologies to visualize geospatial data. This is an AWS enterprise cloud environment. Qualified candidates will be well-versed in software engineering methodologies and practices to interact with a highly qualified web development team. Required expertise includes demonstrated hands-on skills using PHP, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and other technologies. Prior experience working with geospatial tools for analysis, visualization, or data handling workflows is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a collaborative team to develop and maintain websites and mapping applications for visualizing and distributing geospatial data.
• Develop Python scripts that produce geospatial data products.
• Support a diverse array of technologies including, but not limited to PHP, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
• Interact with a skilled web development team that supports the USGS EROS Integrated Science Applications Branch.
